This policy is issued by Dreamers Media & Marketing, Johannesburg, South Africa ("we", "us"). Customer support: phone +27 83 460 1815, email [email protected], WhatsApp +27 83 460 1815, Monday–Friday 09:00–17:00 (SAST).
This policy is drafted in line with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA") and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 ("ECTA"). Nothing in it limits or replaces any right you have under South African law.
We sell professional services: social media management (monthly), website design and build (once-off), Shopify store setup (once-off), marketing training — live workshops and pre-recorded online courses (per seat) — and The Buzz Engine bundle (monthly). Every engagement starts with a written quote confirmed with you before any payment is taken. Because we sell services rather than physical goods, "returns" in this policy means cancellations and refunds.
If you purchase from us electronically — via this website, WhatsApp or email — you may cancel the transaction within 7 days after the agreement was concluded, without giving a reason and without penalty. We will refund any payment you have made within 30 days of your cancellation.
In line with section 42(2) of ECTA, the cooling-off right does not apply to the portion of services whose performance has already begun with your consent before the end of the 7-day period — you remain entitled to a refund for everything not yet performed. It also does not apply to digital content, such as our pre-recorded courses, once you have been given access to it — see section 6.
Social media management and The Buzz Engine bundle run month-to-month with no fixed term and no lock-in. You may cancel at any time by email or WhatsApp; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing month in which you cancel, and you will not be charged again. Fees for months in which the services were delivered are not refundable, except as provided in sections 3, 6 and 7 of this policy.
Live training (in person, or online over Zoom or similar):
Pre-recorded courses and other digital content: when you purchase a pre-recorded course, you receive immediate and full access to the content, and by purchasing you consent to that immediate delivery. For this reason, these purchases are final and non-refundable once access has been granted, in line with section 42(2) of ECTA, which excludes accessed digital audio, video and similar content from the cooling-off right. If you have paid but cannot access the content, or the content is materially defective, contact us — your quality-of-service rights under section 7 below still apply in full, and we will fix your access or refund you.
You have the right to services performed in a manner and of a quality that consumers are generally entitled to expect. If we fall short of that standard, you may require us to either remedy the defect — we re-perform the deficient work at no charge — or refund a reasonable portion of the price, as the CPA provides.
In addition to (never instead of) your statutory rights: at the start of every engagement we set targets together, in writing, in your growth plan. If we miss those targets by day 90, your fourth month of service is free, as stated on our website.
If we update this policy, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date. The version in force when you purchased applies to your purchase.
